Collection: Salvioni - La Cerbaiola
One of the historic top producers and cult producer of Brunello di Montalcino. Giulio and Mirella Salvioni's first vintage was 1985, and from the start it has been one of the best producers. On the 4 ha in the eastern part of Montalcino, approx. 15,000 bottles of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. Normally no production of Rosso di Montalcino DOC unless the year has been below the level required by Giulio. Expensive wines. Large dishes only. Set in the 80s together with Gianfranco Soldera and Diego Molinari at Cerbaiona the standard for Brunello. Giulio is known as the master of the field. Many clones of Sangiovese are used. The day-to-day management is more or less taken over by the daughter, Alessia, with the help of the son Davide. There is no doubt, however, who has the last word on the farm. It usually ends up being the wife, Mirella :-).
