Collection: Villa Medoro
Villa Medoro, named after the small village of Medoro near Atri. A fantastic area with views of the Adriatic Sea to the east and more than 3,000 meter high mountains to the west.
Luigi Della Loggia, Federica Morricone's grandfather, bought the place in 1966, but at the age of only 22, in 1996 Federica Morricone took over the management of the place, which now produces wine from 107 hectares of vineyards around the Terano hills.
The house produces from its own vineyards 3 different red wines from ontepulciano, a number of different white wines from local grapes such as trebbiano d'Abruzzo, pecorino and passarina, as well as a Cerasuolo rose from montepulciano.
Villa Medoro is a so-called star producer in Gambero Rosso, which requires that you have received at least 10 times 3 glasses of Gambero Rosso
The house is biodynamic, and from and including the 2023 vintage certified.
