Lucien Muzard & Fils Santenay Gravières Premier Cru 2020

The pinot noir vines were planted in the early 60s and cover 0.62 hp.

The plot is east facing. The soil is limestone and clay. Hand harvested.

Vinification takes place with natural yeast, on whole grapes, the majority of which are destemmed, approx. 30% whole classes.

Aged in Bourgogne oak barriques, of which 15-20% are new.

A characterful Santenay with the most beautiful intense purple colour.

The aroma is rich with cherries, rose petals and violets, with a slight hint of licorice.

The taste is intense and powerful, while also caressing the palate. Beautiful supple structure and with a long seductive finish with tones of blueberry.

Enjoy in large Bourgogne glasses as an accompaniment to veal.
