Le Brun Servenay Champagne Cuvée Mélodie en C Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs 1.5L

This cuvée is a Champagne Blanc de Blancs, i.e. Champagne of 100% Chardonnay. The grapes come from 20 to 25 year old vines in the Côte des Blancs.

This cuvée stands out for its elegance and finesse. Its generous and clean nose has notes of chalk, sea and iodine. Citrus, lime and lemon peel give a feeling of looseness. Fresh fern notes give the final touch to the high complexity.

The primary notes of gray stone and fresh chalk on the palate are obscured by citrus and Granny Smith apples. Finely structured and remarkably persistent across the palate, with an exceptionally long finish.

Suitable as a companion to oysters, steamed shellfish and even sushi.
