Massolino Dolcetto d'Alba DOC 2021

This is a historic wine for Massolino. Produced since 1896. The wine comes from a 3.2 ha field at an altitude of 330 meters in Serralunga.

The wine has never seen cask and is the classic counterpart to the often overdone Dolcetto wines from Dogana.

The wine has fermented at 27-29 degrees in steel for 7 days, after which it is matured in cement followed by 4 months in bottle.

Completely fresh, and a wine that goes well with aperitifs, dried ham, pasta, risotto and grilled meat. Dolcetto is not sweet at all, and the wine has some tannins, which are not aggressive.
