Podere Le Ripi Amore e Follia Syrah Toscana IGT 2015 12L

Podere Le Ripi only has one certified Brunello field of 1 ha, but they have another 12 hectares of Sangiovese, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Syrah. This gave rise to the idea of ​​creating a wine that is selected and aged like a Brunello di Montalcino.

In most vintages, Amore e Follia is a blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and Merlot.

The wine matures for 36 months in casks of various sizes, followed by 24 months in the bottle, which gives the wine a subtle elegance.

The elegance is seductive in the mouth, combined with sweetness, the subtle but characteristic structure of good tannins, and it finishes with red berries, blueberries and blackberries, which give a slight bitterness.

After a long finish, the sensation of these fruits lingers on the palate for several minutes afterwards.
