Ferrero Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2022

The wine has a deep ruby ​​red color and a broad, fruity bouquet. The taste is elegant and well-balanced with lively acidity and a long, mineral aftertaste.

Ferrero Rosso di Montalcino originates from Sant'Angelo in Colle in Montalcino, where the vineyards are located on hilly slopes at an altitude of approximately 250 meters. The soil is rich in clay, which gives the grapes an intense taste. After a hand-picked harvest in September, the Sangiovese grapes were fermented for 12 days at a controlled temperature and then aged for 8-9 months in Allier oak barrels.

A lovely versatile wine that goes well with pasta dishes, grilled meats and mature cheeses.
