Maugeri Etna Bianco Superiore Frontemare DOC 2022

The Carricante grapes grow at 700m above sea level on an east-facing single field on the slope of Etnas, Contrada

The soil is sandy volcanic soil with lots of organic matter and rich in minerals.

The grapes were harvested by hand on 6 October 2022. Have undergone cryomaceration for six hours and then the whole bunches have been pressed. The must has been clarified at a low temperature. Fermented in steel and in small French oak barrels, 30% in steel and 70% in oak barrels. Aged on lees for 8 months.

The fragrance opens with wild aromas of lychee, citrus and herbs.

The taste is extremely delicate and lively with juicy lemon and yellow apples.
