Ronc Plâtat Friulano Garzolini DOC 2022

Made from one of the oldest and most historic vineyards in Friuli, planted as far back as 1926 just outside the Colli Orientali appellation.

It is a different style of Friulano, which focuses more on tension and acidity. Tommaso took a chance by trying to show that a lowland vineyard can produce wines of incredible elegance if properly managed. The yield from the field is extremely low, less than 2 tons per hectare. Only 566 bottles were produced in this vintage.

The fragrance offers a seductive sweetness, with notes of white flowers and tropical fruit. The taste is welcoming with a slightly salty undertone that highlights the delicious minerality. It finishes with an impressive length and with a concentration of lots of freshness and clear tannins.
