Schiena d'Asino has a characteristic dense, clear red color.

The nose presents tones of red fruits and balsamic.

The taste starts strong and almost harsh, finishing with a generous, elegant long aftertaste. It can be enjoyed with robust dishes but is excellent on its own.

A wine to be enjoyed in good company.

It is a single-vineyard Brunello di Montalcino, aged for a full 42 months in Allier oak barrels and then 12 months in bottles in Mastrojanni's cellar.
