Ferrero Pepita Toscana IGT 2021

Pepita IGT from Ferrero is a full-bodied red wine, created from a blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, montepulciano and alicante.

In the glass, Pepita IGT appears with an intense purplish red colour. The scent offers a combination of Alicante pepper and Cabernet Sauvignon pyrazines, spiced with barrel notes. The taste is balanced with the sweetness of merlot and the structure of montepulciano, and the wine offers a persistent fruity aftertaste.

The wine is harvested manually from two hectares at Montenero d'Orcia, where low yields and healthy vines have ensured good quality.

After fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, the wine has matured for 10 months in used 500 liter tonneaux, which add subtle spicy notes.
